"Hi, my name is Ilse Prinsen. I am a mix-media artist, born in ’96 with my roots in Amsterdam. Art has always played a big part of my life. I was taught to paint by my great-grandfather in my childhood. Every day he had to make at least 1 painting. You can say he was quite obsessed. Other family members of mine also painted and I think they have all ignited me with the love for the craft of arts. So, from the age of 10, I started taking drawing and painting lessons and went to art academy later on.

Up till this day, I still love the works of art and I haven’t limited myself to a specific style of the creative world. My art is a creation of something that evolves naturally out of inspiration of the world around me. When I’m making art, I become immersed in the moment and it brings me at ease. It disconnect me from the vivid days and makes me present. It’s pure happiness for me and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all."
